Medichem (Pty) Ltd is a South African manufacturer and supplier of hygiene and cleaning chemical solutions, based in Atlantis, Cape Town.
We manufacture and supply detergents, disinfectants, hand hygiene products, floor care products, laundry products and ancillary cleaning items for hygiene-critical industries, including food processing, healthcare, hospitality, contract cleaning, industrial facilities and distribution partners.

Manufacturing and Quality Control
Medichem products are manufactured at our facility in Atlantis, Western Cape, under controlled production and quality management procedures.

In the food industry, hygiene products must do more than clean. They need to fit into HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and internal food safety systems. Medichem supplies a dedicated range of products registered with NSF as Nonfood Compounds, giving food industry customers additional confidence that selected products are suitable for use in food-processing environments when used according to label directions.
Selected products are also Halaal certified and registered with the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications, where applicable and required by South African regulations.
